Sometimes the whole family gets to travel with me, which is really needed since I'm on the road much of the time. We have had some awesome opportunities to see the country together.
For Young Men Only - The Making of the Book. Well it was a great experience to write the book For Men Only with my husband, Jeff, and then For Young Women Only with my best friend, Lisa Rice. What's really cool about For Young Men Only is that our husband's are best friends and they have had a really great time with this project.
I treasure my time with my family since I'm on the road so much. It is quite a juggling act to be an active, involved mom and a traveling career woman. Thankfully God has given me a great support with my husband Jeff, who is a great hands-on dad ,and a Nanny the kids enjoy. But I never want to use that support to replace the God-given role I cherish as my kid's mom. The time they are little is so fleeting and I don't want to look back with any regrets wishing I had been there more.
Come take a peek inside the personal life I lead at home and at work. It changes every day but I would love for you to see some of the things I do besides just write and speak. I'm a normal wife and mom like many of you.
As my schedule has gotten busier, I have found that the only way to have time for the strategic things that I need to do is to surround myself with a fantastic team of people. I’m extremely grateful for their diligence and commitment to a high level of excellence and for their passion to help me get these enduring, transformational messages out. Not only do we work together but we find time to celebrate together as well. I'm proud to introduce you to my team.
You might be surprised at what all it takes to make a DVD-based study - everything from building the set, to putting rollers in my hair, taping, and breaking down. It was exhausting but so much fun!
