| Hi everyone. I have a question. How do I respond to a husband who would rather be disrespected by me than unloved by me? I love him dearly and tell him all the time but we have a problem with the respect part. I want to respect him. I want him to lead his family. I want him to take control. He seems very nervous or lazy or something and won't just do it! Some wives complain that their husbands are too controlling. Mine won't take control, which leaves me to do all the decision making and grunt work in the family. I deeply resent this. He's also one of those who doesn't need sex very often. Once a month maybe? I'm a one in four wife. He says he loves me and things will get better. He has said this over and over for nearly 10 years. We have two girls. I don't know what to do. |

| Have you read the book "Love and Respect" ? It might bring out some points to talk about with your husband. |
